Playing about with the rapidograph set I picked up for cheap at a local art shop =D Quite pleased with the performance! There was a bit of a page dip on the right, did my best cleaning it up.

Medium: rapidograph, india ink
Tags: dragon pen scales
Icons by Ruggy

Some icons I did for myself of two dog characters, Alia, an afghan hound, and Kito, a shiba inu. I dabbled in RP for a few months and then college spewed work at me and I didn't have the time or inclination anymore. =( I still like the characters I made though!

In other news, Afghan Hounds <333333 I want one of those dogs so much.

Medium: Painter 9
Tags: hound dogs sighthound afghan shiba inu
A Rug Sheet! by Ruggy

Because the situation kept coming up where I needed a good reference of my avatar dealie and did not have one. Sort of a tiger/belgian tervuren type thing.

Life and I Fairly Fully Agree by Ruggy

Did this the Christmas before last, I think. Was watching Scrooge the musical, so I was feeling pretty okay with everything (a hundred times better than it sounds, trust me =P The 1970 one with Albert Finney, for the curious). I rather got the impression that the bear was happy just to get the girl out of the house for once. I still find it kinda cute!

I need to start doing actual bona-fide value on characters like that again.

Medium: digital
Tags: bear papillon
Damre trade by Ruggy

My half of an art trade with Damre/Link off of a forum I used to visit. Tried doing more of that cel-shade look, though the background may be a little too mushy to really sit well with the style, I dunno. I kind of like it though! The tree ended up way better than I thought it would as well. Though the whole thing does get me thinking that I could use some serious work on my textures. Hm.

Damre is the intellectual property of his owner.

EDIT: changed the image to the PNG file 'cause JPG just ate this one up D=

Medium: digital
Tags: fox
Worgs, worgs, worgs! by Ruggy

I have something of a fondness for the worgs of World of Warcraft. Not that I make it obvious or anything. Teef!

Anyway, the Tauren up there is Dunesfara, my level 69 hunter, riding Fifi. Crumpet is the one up front, and in the back is the little worg pup I got from blackrock spire, XANTHOR, destroyer of worlds. He just wants to know what's going on. Awww.

Tauren and such are copyright to Blizzard.

Medium: digital sketch
Tags: wolf of cow world warcraft tauren buffalo horde blizzard worg
Self-Destruction in Beige by Ruggy

Rrrrrrrgh stress. Figured I was due for one of these images. Kept the blood to a little trickle so it didn't seem so outrageously whingy and cheesy. I hope it worked. =/
Trying to get away from excessive use of outline in my pieces. Anything I do outside of art class ends up looking like a coloring book, so I wanted to fix that.
More of a doodle than anything else but I didn't really want to call it a sketch.

Medium: Digital; Painter 9
Tags: Tiger dog bite chew
Luke and Maxx for Rain by Ruggy

My half of an art trade I did with Rain from a forum I visit. It's her characters, Luke and Maxx.

This was my attempt at a sort of cartoon-type thing - simple shading on the characters and intricate background and whatnot. Overall I'm pleased with it, even if the stars did shrink funky.

Medium: Digital; Painter 9
Tags: german dogs shepherd
